Automation Engineer

Automation Engineers develop, implement, and troubleshoot automated systems to improve operational efficiency and productivity. They analyze production processes, design automation solutions, and ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes and identify areas for automation.
• Design and develop automated systems by integrating hardware, software, and control systems.
• Program and configure automation equipment, including robots, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure proper functioning and reliability of automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated solutions into existing production lines.
• Monitor and maintain automation equipment, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for automation systems.
• Train and educate production teams on the use and maintenance of automation equipment.
• Gather and analyze data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with advancements in automation technology and industry best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of robotics, PLC programming, and HMI design.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or ladder logic.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and networking.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in automation.
• Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to new technologies.
