Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of market trends, and key financial metrics.
Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports for management, providing insights into the companys financial health and performance.
Stay informed about global financial markets, economic indicators, and geopolitical events that may impact trading activities.
Utilize market research to develop financial forecasts and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
Collaborate with risk management teams to assess and analyze potential risks associated with financial transactions and market fluctuations.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and optimize trading outcomes.
Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential investment opportunities, assess trading strategies and analyze the impact on overall financial performance.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments to company processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, and IT, to gather necessary data and insights for informed decision-making.
Present financial analyses and reports to senior management, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices within the financial analysis function.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.
Native Arabic speaker, and fluent in English.
Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the financial services industry.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools.
In-depth knowledge of global financial markets, and economic indicators.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
