Job Overview

Here’s your chance to step into the role of Associate Director – Financial Reporting at Dubai Holding Group Services. In this position, you'll lead the end-to-end Record-to-Report function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement. You will play a key role in driving financial governance, stakeholder engagement, and transformation initiatives while leading a high-performing team within the finance shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes to ensuretimelyandaccuratefinancial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
• Oversee general ledger management, reconciliations, financial controls, and reporting activities.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Record-to-Report function.
• Partner with finance leadership, business stakeholders, and auditors to deliver high-quality financial insights and service excellence.
• Lead financial risk management and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
• Monitor key performance indicators and service levels to drive operational performance and value creation.
• Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of customer centricity, innovation, and continuous learning.

About You

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Professionalqualificationsuch as CA, CPA, ACCA, or ACA.
• 8–10 years of experience in finance, audit, or financial reporting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Minimum 5 years of Big 4 audit experience supporting multinational organizations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Proven experience managing complex consolidations and large-scale finance operations.

• Proficiencyin Oracle EPM solutions, including Fusion, ARCS, and FCCS, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience within finance shared services environments is preferred.
• Experience within the Middle East region and the real estate sector isadvantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
