About the Role
Al Asayel Health & Safety FZE is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our finance team. You will handle day-to-day accounting, VAT and regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. The role offers professional growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including VAT filings and JAFZA submissions.
• Handle invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and data entry.
• Reconcile bank, customer and vendor accounts regularly, and verify transaction accuracy.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and help prepare for audits.
• Follow up with banks on existing and new financial matters.
• Maintain organized financial records and provide reporting support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA or CA certification.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT law, financial reporting and compliance.
• Proficiency in SAP Business One or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
• Good written and spoken English, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience with JAFZA submissions.
• Experience in a similar trading or distribution company.
