Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Assistant Security Manager to support the Security Operations Manager in overseeing daily security operations, team performance, client relationships, and operational compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage security teams, conduct site inspections, coordinate deployments and training, handle client requirements, and ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable UAE regulations.


Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Support the Security Operations Manager in achieving departmental objectives
  • Oversee day-to-day security operations and resolve operational issues
  • Conduct regular and random site inspections, including day and night visits
  • Conduct site audits, surveys, and security risk assessments
  • Plan monthly operational schedules, supervisor visits, and team activities
  • Manage deployment, relievers, replacements, and staff allocation
  • Monitor team performance, discipline, attendance, and compliance
  • Ensure continuous improvement in security operations and staff welfare

2. Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and communicate regularly with security teams
  • Monitor staff performance and support performance appraisals
  • Address disciplinary matters in accordance with company procedures
  • Ensure personnel understand and fulfil their assigned responsibilities
  • Oversee the appropriate use of company vehicles, equipment, and property

3. Customer & Client Management

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and site representatives
  • Attend customer meetings and follow up on operational requirements
  • Handle client complaints and ensure appropriate resolution within 24 hours
  • Monitor client satisfaction and ensure agreed KPIs are achieved
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and customer experience

4. Administration & Reporting

  • Manage leave planning, staff records, appraisals, and operational documentation
  • Prepare and standardise monthly operational reports
  • Investigate incidents and report findings to the Security Operations Manager
  • Oversee invoice documentation and coordinate with the Accounts team regarding payment follow-ups and collections
  • Maintain accurate operational and administrative records

5. Training & Compliance

  • Ensure all security personnel maintain valid SIRA licences and required certifications
  • Coordinate SIRA licensing, renewals, and training requirements
  • Organise and monitor in-house, on-site, and digital training programmes
  • Identify training needs and support the continuous development of security personnel
  • Promote compliance with company procedures, SIRA requirements, and applicable UAE regulations

6. Site Resources & Staff Welfare

  • Ensure adequate site resources are available, including water, shade, toilets, and other required facilities
  • Monitor accommodation standards and staff welfare
  • Address operational or welfare issues and coordinate appropriate solutions



Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in security operations or a similar management role
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management position within the security industry
  • Strong knowledge of security operations, team management, and operational planning
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Professional approach with the ability to manage teams and operational challenges effectively
  • Good knowledge of SIRA requirements and security industry regulations

Preferred Certifications

  • SIRA Security Manager Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Fire Safety Certification
