Job Description

As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and driving revenue growth for the organization. You will work closely with the Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, manage sales teams, and ensure that sales targets are achieved. Your responsibilities will include overseeing sales operations, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Your efforts will not only help in meeting sales goals but also in enhancing customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Coordinate daily sales operations and manage the sales team efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand competitors.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Analyze sales performance data and report insights to senior management.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to improve their performance.
  • Assist in negotiating and closing deals with high-value clients and partners.
  • Identify and address sales-related issues and provide solutions promptly.
  • Work closely with product development to ensure offerings meet market demand.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure all sales administrative tasks are completed.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection of new sales team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales or sales management roles.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team in a sales environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to analyze data to drive strategic sales decisions and actions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Highly motivated with a goal-oriented approach and strong work ethic.
