Job Description

The Senior Software Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving the business objectives of our organization by aggressively identifying and acquiring new business opportunities and cultivating existing customer relationships. This role is essential for someone with vast experience in software sales, a customer-centric approach, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, manage extensive sales cycles, establish strong relationships with stakeholders, and work in tandem with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and execute strategic sales plans and forecasts for software solutions.
  • Identify new market opportunities through research, networking, and engagement with potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding client needs.
  • Demonstrate software products and services to prospects, tailoring presentations to each client’s specific needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the client experience and improve service delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust sales tactics accordingly to stay ahead of competition.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders by regularly updating on industry trends and solutions.
  • Develop proposals and respond to RFPs, ensuring alignment with client needs and company strategy.
  • Achieve assigned sales quotas and contribute to the organization's growth objectives.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with accurate sales pipeline reports and documentation.
  • Continuously improve professional skills and knowledge through additional training and participation in industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in sales, specifically in the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of software product lifecycles and client acquisition strategies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on negotiation.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed challenging sales targets consistently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
