Job Description

The Assistant Sales Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales Manager in driving sales growth and achieving targets. This role involves supervising the sales team, ensuring consistent and effective sales strategies, and liaising with clients to maintain strong relationships. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Manager in developing sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Supervise and mentor the sales team to improve their performance and skills.

  • Coordinate with the marketing department to align sales and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales metrics to inform team assessments and strategy.

  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain client satisfaction.

  • Act as a point of contact for escalated client issues that require higher authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales or assistant management role required.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently over time.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
