Job Description

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dining establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day activities, ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are achieved, and that our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will also be responsible for managing staff performance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing effective problem resolution. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. Our ideal candidate will be a team player who can motivate others and contribute to maintaining a positive work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of daily restaurant operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest dining satisfaction.
  • Supervise restaurant staff to ensure smooth service delivery each shift.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve professional growth.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain restaurant operations efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues with professionalism and tact.
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies for business growth.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
  • Prepare daily financial reports and assist in budget management activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Support event planning and execution to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with proven effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
  • Proficient understanding of food safety and public health principles.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial records in a hospitality setting.
