The Sales Department oversees ticket and venue sales of a diverse portfolio of cultural assets, ensuring seamless experiences for visitors and clients alike. With a focus on promoting cultural engagement and fostering memorable experiences, the team facilitates ticket sales for various events, exhibitions and programs hosted across our cultural venues. Additionally, we actively seek sponsorship and partnership opportunities to further enhance our offerings and expand our reach. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service, we work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering personalized guidance and support throughout.



The Assistant Manager - Sales supports revenue growth and attendance for Education & Culture by assisting with ticket and venue sales. This includes engaging with educational institutions, resellers, and event partners as needed, while maintaining relationships for ticketing, tours, educational programs, and events. The role also contributes to expanding the customer base through new outreach initiatives.



The main responsibilities for this role include:

  • Support revenue generation across multiple channels, including general ticketing, tours, educational and family programs, and E&C events, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
  • Assist in identifying potential leads and prospects to expand reach and increase sales opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales performance updates and client feedback to help meet targets and enhance the department’s corporate and venue offerings.
  • Maintain relationships with clients to support sales conversions, deliver quality customer service, and contribute to client satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate the sales process, including preparing presentations, assisting in negotiations, and facilitating visitations and payments for a seamless client experience.
  • Support clients in organizing tailored trips or programming based on their specific needs.
  • Assist in developing sales materials, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives for different market segments.
  • Represent the department at domestic and international exhibitions and events, supporting outreach efforts and brand visibility.
  • Contribute to identifying new revenue opportunities, streamlining sales processes, and improving the overall visitor experience.
  • Support the analysis of sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills required:


Essential

  • 4+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the tourism and/or hospitality as well as:
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to travel

Desirable

  • Passion for arts, culture, and education.
  • Arabic
