As we prepare to reopen Hyatt Place Dubai Baniyas Square, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Manager - Front Office to join our team.
About the Role
In this role, you will support the daily Front Office operations, ensure seamless guest experiences, lead and develop the front office team, and uphold Hyatt's standards of hospitality excellence.
Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day management of Front Office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Lead, motivate, and develop Front Office colleagues to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction and operational performance.
Supervise all guest arrival and departure experiences, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient check-in/check-out process.
Handle guest concerns, feedback, and service recovery in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor room inventory, room allocation, and VIP arrivals to maximize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Drive room revenue through upselling initiatives and effective inventory management.
Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, policies, and procedures.
Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational priorities to the team.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of Front Office colleagues.
Prepare duty rosters and manage staffing levels in line with business demands.
Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Reservations, Sales, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Monitor guest feedback platforms and implement action plans to continuously improve service quality.
Ensure accurate cashiering procedures, audit compliance, and adherence to financial controls.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, grooming, and professionalism across the Front Office team.
Act as Manager on Duty when required, ensuring smooth hotel operations and prompt resolution of operational issues.
Foster a positive work environment that reflects Hyatt’s culture of care and teamwork.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in Front Office operations within an international hotel environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent guest service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Proficiency in hotel PMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Fluency in English; additional languages will be an advantage.
