As an Area Business Manager (ABM) specializing in Rare Disease, you will play a pivotal role in driving patient identification and market development within your designated territory across UAE. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on achieving area sales, market share, and profit targets. Your primary responsibilities include nurturing relationships with physicians and treatment clinics, educating them on the disease areas, and removing barriers to facilitate healthcare provider decisions. You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and optimize access to our treatment solutions. Utilizing strategic selling principles, you will ensure compliance with regulations and Biogen policies while enhancing our product’s value for patients and healthcare professionals. In addition to sales targets, you may support marketing initiatives and execute commercial programs in the field. Your contributions will be vital in achieving and exceeding sales goals, thus advancing Biogens mission in the rare disease sector.
What You’ll Do
Drive patient identification and market development for Rare Disease through strategic territory management.
Build and execute territory and account-specific plans to achieve sales objectives.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to promote Biogen services.
Execute local peer-to-peer meetings and educational programs to support disease awareness.
Collaborate closely with Brand and Sales Managers for patient identification and support activities.
Analyze business opportunities and threats, providing insights to management.
Coordinate resources and mobilize internal and external stakeholders to meet customer needs.
Develop disease area centres of excellence and troubleshoot patient access challenges.
Maintain best-in-class knowledge of relevant disease areas, Biogen products, and market dynamics.
Conduct administrative follow-through, ensuring compliance and documentation standards are met.

Required Skills
Relevant university degree; Masters degree in biotech, commercial, or sales preferred.
A minimum of 3 years in a similar function within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in the UAE commercial environment, preferably within Abu Dhabi and experience in rare diseases and/or neurology is also highly preferred.
Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals.
