Responsibilities

• Develop and present design concepts for various architectural projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure design specifications.
• Create detailed blueprints and architectural drawings using industry-standard software.
• Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies regarding project construction.
• Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
• Oversee the construction phase to ensure the project adheres to design standards.
• Utilize 3D modeling and visualization techniques for clients' presentations.
• Stay current with architectural trends and advancements in construction technologies.
• Manage project timelines and adjust plans according to project status and requirements.
• Liaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure their needs are met.
• Review and approve architectural designs and documents created by junior architects.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and project documentation for all relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Professional architect license or certification, actively maintained and in good standing.
• Minimum of five years of experience in an architectural design role is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software and 3D visualization tools such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to strict deadlines.
