Key Responsibilities

Application Engineering Support (60%)

  • Provide swift, accurate technical support to customers, including distributors, contractors, and OEMs, for refrigeration and cold chain solutions.
  • Assist customers with product selection software, heat load calculations, refrigerant line sizing, electrical component selection, and system design queries.
  • Support the transition of customers from semi-hermetic to scroll compressor technologies.
  • Develop and maintain technical libraries, application bulletins, catalogs, user manuals, and cross-reference documents with competitor products.
  • Engage customers on alternate refrigerants and explore new regional applications.
  • Lead NBO (New Business Opportunities) for refrigeration products in collaboration with the Sales team.

Technical Training (20%)

  • Develop and manage a technical training calendar and prepare technical materials.
  • Deliver training sessions (theoretical and hands-on) for customers on controllers, protections, and system components used in refrigeration systems.
  • Manage resources, tools, and facilities required for training activities.

Quality & Warranty Management (20%)

  • Manage warranty claims related to refrigeration products such as condensing units, compressors, and compressor packs.
  • Provide troubleshooting and on-site technical support for critical issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using data logging and field diagnostics.
  • Conduct compressor teardown analysis and collaborate with manufacturing teams on product performance feedback.
  • Analyze warranty data to support continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • 8-10 years experience in HVACR design, projects, service, technical support, or training with strong refrigeration focus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, refrigeration systems, and electrical components.
  • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in refrigeration applications and troubleshooting.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical software tools.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel across the MEA region as required.
  • Ability to work outside typical office environments when necessary.
  • Commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
