You will be at the forefront of client interactions, converting stressful travel moments into smooth, enjoyable experiences. As an agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to passengers throughout the airport. You will guide them through check-in processes, baggage handling, boarding, and respond to inquiries while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor. Your ability to handle passenger needs with efficiency, empathy, and clear communication is imperative to the role. Your contribution as an Airport Customer Service Agent not only guarantees satisfaction to the travelers but also enhances the reputation of the airline you represent.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist arriving and departing passengers with travel information.
  • Guide passengers through the check-in process ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist passengers with luggage handling, including tagging and tracking procedures.
  • Provide clear and helpful responses to passenger inquiries and feedback.
  • Coordinate with the gate staff to facilitate a smooth boarding process.
  • Address passenger concerns or complaints handling situations with tact.
  • Ensure compliance with all airport and airline safety regulations and protocols.
  • Support passengers with special needs or requests throughout the airport.
  • Monitor and manage lost and found items with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with security and airport staff to ensure passenger safety and flow.
  • Deliver information on flight schedules, delays, and boarding procedures clearly.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude representing the airline.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including standing and lifting luggage.
  • Flexibility to work in a rotating shift schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage unexpected situations.
