Air Freight Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Air Freight Logistics Coordinator to manage air cargo operations efficiently and ensure the timely shipment of goods. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire logistics process from booking to final delivery, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, airline requirements, and client expectations. Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage air freight shipments from origin to destination.

• Book cargo space with airlines and arrange pick-up and delivery schedules.

• Ensure all documentation, including air waybills and customs forms, are complete and accurate.

• Liaise with clients, carriers, agents, and customs brokers to ensure smooth operations.

• Monitor shipments, track cargo status, and provide regular updates to clients.

• Handle any shipment delays, damage claims, or logistics issues promptly.

• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and client interactions.

• Provide cost estimates and quotes for air freight services to customers.

• Continuously look for opportunities to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in air freight or freight forwarding operations.

• In-depth knowledge of international air shipping regulations and documentation.

• Familiarity with cargo management systems and freight forwarding software.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to solve problems under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Customer-focused mindset with attention to service quality.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
