The Air Freight Coordinator is a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless handling and transportation of goods by air, from point of origin to destination. Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with international shipping laws and regulations consistently.
  • Track shipments and provide updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to air freight operations promptly.
  • Negotiate rates and services with carriers and freight forwarders efficiently.
  • Work closely with the sales team to support customer needs and inquiries.
  • Analyze freight costs and manage budgets to optimize profit margins.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for customs clearance.
  • Provide excellent customer service by handling inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field required.
  • Minimum of two years experience in air freight or logistics sector.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation.
  • Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for success.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail are required.
