Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Executive 05N25 is an integral part of the finance team within an organization, playing a critical role in managing the company’s cash flow. This position is responsible for ensuring that clients are billed correctly and that payments are collected timely. It involves maintaining accurate and complete financial records, performing account reconciliations, and coordinating with clients for overdue invoices. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. The Accounts Receivable Executive will work closely with other finance professionals to support the financial health of the organization, helping to forecast cash flow and mitigate potential risks associated with accounts receivable.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of customers to facilitate prompt payments.
  • Review and verify invoices to ensure accurate calculations and adherence to terms.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all accounts receivable activities and transactions.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their account status and payment issues.
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies in billing with a focus on problem resolution.
  • Monitor aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to clarify billing issues and support resolution.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status to senior management.
  • Participate in the improvement of workflows and processes in the accounts receivable function.
  • Support annual and quarterly financial audits by providing requested information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new billing and collection policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot numerical discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills, with the capability to negotiate payment terms.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial matters.
