Accountant

Bunker One is now looking for a skilled candidate to assist in accounting. You will provide support in all areas of accounting which requires a service-minded and structured approach towards all stakeholders. You will become a part of our office in Dubai and collaborate with experienced colleagues in an international environment.

Your Responsibilities

The office environment can be described as innovative, lively and expanding; thus, the right candidate will manage day-to-day tasks around the office and work closely with the sales and operational teams to uphold a high level of service, quality and efficiency in the accounts department and ensure structure to the accounting department.

In more details your assignments will include, but not limited to:

• Accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Reconciliations, ex. bank reconciliations, petty cash and intercompany
• Assist with reporting to management and head office
• Accruals and month end closing

In addition, you have:

• Relevant degree in Accounting and Bookkeeping
• Minimum of 4 years’ accounting-related experience
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Dynamics Business Central)
• Experience in Microsoft Office, particularly skilled in Excel.
• A practical, service-minded, versatile, focused, structured, disciplined, and global mindset
• Experience with VAT, Trade Finance or an interest to learn.
• Willingness to acquire new skills
