Job Description

An Admin cum Accountant plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of an organization by handling a mix of administrative and accounting tasks. This multifaceted role requires an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses a solid understanding of accounting principles alongside strong administrative skills. In this position, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, while also overseeing administrative functions such as scheduling, correspondence, and record management. Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all accounting entries are correct.
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and invoices in a timely manner.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities to help manage company finances.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary for uninterrupted operations.
  • Oversee office filing systems and ensure confidential information is secure.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives.
  • Handle correspondence, calls, and emails with professionalism and urgency.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee records, contract details, and general office documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve administrative and financial procedures.
  • Support the HR team with recruitment processes and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience in a combined administrative and accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is essential.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
