Regional Sales Manager - Full Time - Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are looking for a/an Regional Sales Manager to join our CT_Clean Fuels & Chemicals Licensing team in United Arab Emirates .

You will be responsible for developing and expanding Process Solution footprint in Middle East market related to Sulzer offering on Equipment in the chemical separations and R&P segment. Own and develop business relationships through a consultative selling role. Identifying, qualifying, and pursuing leads for pipeline creation.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Management: Opportunity mapping across the Process Solution business. Lead generation and pipeline monitoring on regular basis.
  • Customer management: Working across customer organization to build long-term relationship and understanding customer buying behaviors and contractual requirements for closure.
  • Account Management: Developing and owning key customer plans and functional collaboration across other Sulzer BU’s for collective win.
  • Contractual Management: Understanding on applicable legal terms and conditions to participate and where applicable lead Customer negotiations for timely and amicable closure on sales contracts. Prepare, negotiate, and manage complex contracts.
  • Business strategy: Working with Business leadership team to devise and provide inputs to each opportunity to place Sulzer’s offering for a win.
  • CRM Management: Regular updates on CRM for all opportunities forecast along with correct pricing to ensure all approvals are in place.
  • Break Through Initiatives: Promoting new Sulzer offering to assign territory as and when applicable.
  • Proposal Management: Provide support to developing opportunities in response to RFQ and client requirements, driving customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Cross-Function Selling: Work with other Sulzer business units to develop cross-selling and mutual opportunities with assigned territory.
  • Contractor Management: Working and building relationship with third party contractors and consultants.
  • Report Management: Prepare and submit timely and monthly reports of business development activities delivered and planned to business and sales management.
  • Professional Networking: Building a strong professional network within the industry and various stakeholders..

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering with at least ten (10) years of experience, in a related field of Applications/Process Engineering (mass transfer/distillation) and/or sales of these services and equipment.
  • Prior sales experience in the Middle East is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and interpret customer’s technical requirements.
  • Experience with at least one of the target industries – specialty chemicals, refining, petrochemicals, bio-renewable, polymers.
  • Experience in proposal writing and evaluating customer business cases.
  • Experience in the use of personal computers, including word-processing, spreadsheets and CRM.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial mindset.
  • Self-driven with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Process Technology experience is a plus.
  • Worked with multinational, multiethnic, and multicultural teams.
  • Understanding of key financial parameters of a Project.
