Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Testing Engineer with strong experience in the insurance domain, specifically in motor or medical insurance. The ideal candidate must have solid expertise in manual testing and should be comfortable testing web and mobile applications. Knowledge of automation testing is a plus and will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Perform end-to-end manual testing for web and mobile applications in the insurance domain (motor/medical).
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Log and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Validate data and workflows related to insurance policies, claims, quotations, and customer interactions.
• Contribute to test documentation including test plans, traceability matrices, and test summary reports.
• Support automation initiatives and work alongside automation engineers as needed.
  
  

• Min 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Proven domain knowledge in motor or medical insurance – including workflows like policy issuance, claims processing, and customer onboarding.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience testing web and mobile apps across various browsers and platforms.
• Familiar with tools like Postman, JIRA, TestRail, Confluence, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
  

• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG).
• Understanding of API testing and automation basics.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
