The Design Assistant supports the Private Label design team in developing market-relevant, benchmark-quality product designs. The role is focused on graphics, trims, tags, and the creation of detailed technical packages. This position works closely with designers, product development teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality output.

What youll be doing:

Graphics, Trims, and Technical Package Development

  • Conduct market and competitor benchmarking for graphics, trims, and tags.
  • Create original or benchmarked graphic designs using professional design tools.
  • Develop sketches and concepts for trims and tags.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate technical packages in line with design specifications.
  • Stay informed about regional regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in trims and tags.
  • Ensure that all designs are aligned with market trends and brand identity.
  • Deliver sketches and tech packs within defined timelines.

Cross-Functional & Supplier Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with development timelines.
  • Share ownership of project timelines and deliverables alongside design and product development stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage design submissions, sampling, and feedback.
  • Partner with the Quality team to refine and standardize technical packages for consistent execution.

What we need:

  • Strong knowledge of graphic designing & apparel technical package creation.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to digitally sketch graphics.
  • Knowledge of 3D design tools or AI-driven design (a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator and team player, able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
