This isn’t a copywriting role. It’s about thought leadership, storytelling, and shaping opinions. You’ll dive into the creator economy, tech, and cultural trends, publishing sharp long-form pieces and provocative short-form content that spark conversation across LinkedIn, Substack, and industry press.
🎯 Core Responsibilities
Write long-form thought leadership content (articles, essays, reports) that positions Kyra as a leading voice in the creator economy and digital culture.
Produce sharp, insight-led content (LinkedIn posts, newsletters, POV short-form video) that resonates with CMOs and brand leaders at global companies.
Research emerging trends across creators, AI, media, and culture — developing original angles that go beyond the obvious and spark industry debate.
Repurpose internal materials (decks, case studies, strategy docs, webinars) into editorial and social-first content.
Collaborate closely with founders, marketing, and data teams to shape narratives that showcase Kyra’s market-leading perspective.
Maintain a consistent, authoritative, and culturally attuned voice across all content formats.
Build relationships with journalists, analysts, and cultural commentators to expand Kyra’s influence.
Shape and manage the editorial and content calendar, ensuring alignment with brand and growth strategy.
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
2–4 years’ experience in journalism, content, or B2B brand marketing (agency, SaaS, or brand-side targeting senior decision-makers).
Strong background in editorial writing and cultural commentary, with demonstrated ability to craft sharp long-form pieces (samples required).
Proven ability to write insightful, bold, and opinionated content that cuts through noise and sparks conversation.
Strong research skills — able to dive into data, reports, and interviews to back up arguments with evidence.
Deep interest in the creator economy, influencer marketing, and digital culture.
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, startup environment.
Strong grasp of social-first content and experience driving engagement, particularly on LinkedIn.
