Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and energetic Assistant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-volume, immersive dining venue in Dubai. This role requires a strong leader who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can deliver outstanding guest experiences while supporting and developing a motivated team.



Key Responsibilities


  • Be a visible, hands-on leader, creating a positive and productive work environment with high energy and engagement.
  • Manage and execute high-volume restaurant operations with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Inspire and align the team with the owner’s vision, ensuring a memorable and immersive experience for every guest.
  • Maintain exceptional guest service standards, going above and beyond to exceed expectations.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with both the management team and front-line staff.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to innovate, improve, and elevate the brand experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development opportunities for team growth.
  • Foster a people-first culture in line with the brand’s aspirations to be best-in-class.
  • Serve as an internal and external ambassador of the brand.
  • Oversee inventory, stock control, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and internal standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, address employee relations issues, and support recruitment and onboarding.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Support the General Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor sales and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and growth.



Requirements


  • Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality or F&B industry, preferably in Dubai.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of guest experience excellence.
  • A passion for people, hospitality, and continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, hygiene, and safety standards.
