NOC Officer JOB

JOB PURPOSE

To carry out NOC permit operations by coordinating with DMT Licensing & Regulatory Compliance, ensuring that NOC permits are issued to the HED team for construction or building rehabilitation projects of DCT in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in compliance with regulatory standards and requirements 

Operations
• Contribute to the development of NOC Permits issuance and renewal processes and procedures, identify required documents, specify fees and elaborate definition and address of non-compliance issues within HED operations.
• Comprehend maps, conduct environmental assessment and use the geographic information systems to identify if there is any environmental danger or risk that could result from any new construction or building rehabilitation services.
• Asses if construction or renovation projects are going to harm the historic environment of certain designated areas in Abu Dhabi and Western Region or the UNESCO protected areas in Al Ain by reviewing the project’s plans and their impact on the surrounding areas and historic environment.
• Follow all regulations and standards to approve or disapprove the construction application and issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the companies who are permitted to build.
• Review construction applications submitted to the Municipality via the E-NOC system.
• Implement investigation processes and procedures in line with criteria set out by the Inspection Section to identify the extent of noncompliance by defaulting entities involved in construction and renovation work for HED.
• Manage the distribution of NOC Permits and ensure that the issuance and renewal of permits are as per the established policies and procedures

• Ensure that the concerned applicants are directed to the relevant governmental departments for completion of the pre-licensing/ post licensing procedures, where required.

Qualification (e.g. Academic Qualification, Certifications, Licenses)

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Data Analytics, Business Administration or equivalent.

Experience
• Bachelor’s degree Holders: 0 to 2 years of experience in Arts/Culture/Data Management role.
