Job Title: Marketing Lead
Sector: Tourism

Job Purpose
Lead the marketing needs of Al Ain activities and tourism products in close collaboration with DCT stakeholders, DCT Departments and third party companies as applicable . Ensuring that the Region is effectively promoted as an outstanding, globally recognized, sustainable tourism & culture destination on all social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Operations
Lead on the development and implementation of the department activities, events and tourism products marketing plans, in coordination with Strategic Marketing and Communication Sector to promote Al Ain Region locally and international in-line with the department’s defined goals.
Support the development of Al Ain Region’s promotional campaigns, marketing and advertising of Al Ain events and festivals regionally and internationally by coordinating with the matter expert departments within DCT and ensuring that the developed plans are aligned with the targets and KPIs required as per Al Ain Strategy
Lead on securing the Marketing budget for Al Ain Region in coordination with Strategic Marketing and Communication Sector and other relevant department’s within DCT.
Support the MarComms teams in drafting media content pack focused on providing a journalist with the relevant information and key messages in relation with Al Ain activtiations and Tourism products
In collaboration with Strategic Marketing team, ensure the design and implementation of social media strategy is align with the Department’s Marketing objectives.
Monitor and review on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
Ensure development of strategic digital marketing plan and digital marketing channels such as web, social media, mobile and direct mail to ensure optimum reach
Shared Activity
Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy into section business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing sectional strategies.
Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager.
Manage and ensure effective implementation of functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned section activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Demonstrate compliance to organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Business Administration, Project Management, Tourism Strategy, or any other decree within the relevant industry.
PMP Certification is preferred.
At least 5 to 7 years of experience in Project Management, Business Process, or another experience within a similar role or industry.
Strong tourism experience is highly preferred.
Experience in tourism in Al Ain Region or/and Al Dhafra Region is preferred.
Skills
Full professional English proficiency both in speaking and writing
Arabic bilingual is desirable but not mandatory.
Skilled in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
Administrative skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated with a proven ability to complete work in a timely manner
Expert knowledge of rebates schemes, preferably accustomed to UAE best practices
Experience with business planning
Extensive experience with program management related to finance and policy
