Printing Production Supervisor

We are looking for a Printing Production Supervisor, you will lead and manage the printing production process, ensuring efficient operations, quality output, and timely delivery of printed materials. Your expertise in printing technologies, team management, and production coordination will contribute to the successful execution of printing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee the printing production process from start to finish.
• Coordinate printing schedules, allocate resources, and manage work orders.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of printed materials, checking for accuracy, color quality, and overall appearance.
• Implement quality control processes to meet customer expectations.
• Supervise the operation of various printing equipment, such as digital printers, offset printers, and large-format printers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain smooth production.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure an adequate supply of printing materials, inks, and substrates.
• Manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
• Lead and supervise the printing production team, including operators, technicians, and assistants.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
• Streamline workflows to minimize waste and improve resource utilization.
• Communicate with clients to understand printing requirements, specifications, and deadlines.
• Provide updates on project progress and address any client concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in the printing production area.
• Create a safe working environment for all team members.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs of printing equipment to prevent downtime.
• Coordinate with technical support and service providers as needed.
• Generate production reports, including output quantities, quality metrics, and project statuses.
• Provide regular updates to management on production performance.
• Monitor production costs and expenses to meet budget targets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Printing Production Supervisor or similar role in a printing or graphic arts environment, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of printing technologies, including digital printing, offset printing, and large-format printing.
• Familiarity with printing materials, inks, substrates, and prepress processes.
• Leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate the production team.
• Technical aptitude for troubleshooting printing equipment issues.
• Attention to detail for quality control and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and management.
• Problem-solving abilities to address production challenges and ensure smooth operations.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a printing environment.
• Proficiency in using printing software and tools.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and overtime.
