Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Waste Handler for our client, . The Waste Handler will be responsible for the proper handling, storage, and disposal of waste materials in accordance with company and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and properly sort waste materials from designated areas
• Operate and maintain waste management equipment such as compactors, shredders, and balers
• Ensure all waste is properly labeled and stored in designated areas
• Monitor waste levels and coordinate with management for timely removal and disposal
• Maintain accurate records of waste collection and disposal
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while handling waste materials
• Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on waste management regulations and best practices
• Report any issues or concerns related to waste management to management
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
  
  
  

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in waste management, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting
• Knowledge of waste management regulations and procedures
• Ability to operate waste management equipment
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
