Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Coordinate and manage inventory control processes as per company policy and protocols.
• Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and development.
• Monitor and enforce safety policies to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure proper flow of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize warehouse productivity and reduce costs.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly to maintain safety standards and operational readiness.
• Prepare and present operational reports to upper management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Manage scheduling and delegation of tasks to warehouse team members for efficient workflow.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with both legal obligations and internal company procedures.
• Resolve workplace and personnel issues promptly to maintain morale and productivity.
• Implement and manage warehouse improvements and updates as necessary for increased efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics best practices.
• Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Proficiency with inventory, productivity, and warehouse management software systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
• Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a warehousing context.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with staff and management.
