Waiter - Food Truck

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they approach the food truck service area.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
• Communicate specials and dietary information to customers effectively.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle financial transactions and provide correct change quickly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service and dining areas.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed by the team leader.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
• Stock and replenish food and beverage supplies during service hours.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for service improvement.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar customer service role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse customer groups.
• Basic mathematical proficiency for handling financial transactions accurately.
• Ability to multitask effectively under pressure and during peak hours.

• Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and public holidays.
