Barista - Food Truck

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages promptly and consistently.
• Engage customers with friendly and informative interactions to enhance their experience.
• Operate coffee-making equipment, ensuring they are cleaned and maintained regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee preparation area and the truck.
• Assist in managing inventory, effectively tracking and replenishing stock as needed.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system.
• Coordinate with food truck staff to ensure optimal service and operations.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations while preparing and serving drinks.
• Develop new recipes and drink specials to attract a variety of customers.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup and restocking as required.
• Provide training and guidance to new barista team members when necessary.
• Collect customer feedback and report suggestions for improving service and offerings.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for coffee and beverages.
• Ability to operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor with customers.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Basic math skills for handling money and inventory calculations effectively.
• Capable of standing for extended periods in variable weather conditions.
