Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist staff in preparing, organizing, and tracking incoming ROI requests.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of ROI documentation (e.g., patient identifiers, valid signatures).
  • Assist with responding to routine inquiries related to the status of medical record requests.
  • Help prepare requested medical records for release under supervision.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Help patient submit online medical records requests through SEHA portal, offering guidance as needed


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or current student (preferably in healthcare, HIM, or legal studies).
  • Interest in medical records, privacy laws, or healthcare compliance.
  • Familiarity with basic computer use and office software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and handle sensitive information.


Time Commitment

  • Volunteer hours typically available Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm
