We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Desk Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and an in-depth understanding of travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and transportation. As a Travel Desk Executive, you will be responsible for assisting with and coordinating travel arrangements for both corporate clients and internal employees. You will act as a liaison between the travel agency and our organization, ensuring that all travel logistics are executed seamlessly. This role requires someone with outstanding organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage travel reservations for corporate clients and internal personnel effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction with travel arrangements.
  • Analyze travel requirements and recommend cost-effective and efficient travel solutions.
  • Negotiate rates with travel vendors to secure the best deals and discounts.
  • Assist clients in resolving travel-related issues or problems quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate travel records and reports for billing and reconciliation purposes.
  • Stay updated on travel industry trends, policies, and security practices continuously.
  • Offer travel options, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and other necessary logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures at all times.
  • Facilitate the travel approval process and manage changes or cancellations as required.
  • Collaborate with travel agency partners to deliver seamless travel experiences consistently.
  • Provide travel advisories to clients based on current events and geopolitical considerations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a travel desk or related role for effective handling of reservations.
  • Strong knowledge of travel booking systems like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is essential.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities with a focus on client satisfaction in all engagements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with vendors and clients effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple travel requests and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to maintain travel documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, for reporting and communication.
