Job Description

A Training & Development Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of an organization's workforce. Responsibilities

  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify existing ones.

  • Develop training manuals, multimedia aids, and other educational materials.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
  • Monitor and report on training outcomes to leadership teams and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate training activities and schedules to accommodate a diverse workforce.
  • Stay abreast of new trends in training and development and recommend improvements.
  • Organize and manage participatory workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Ensure training materials and programs meet compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate engaging and informative training sessions that encourage participation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in training and development, instructional design, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of learning theories, training methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to assess employee training needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience with performance metrics such as ROI on training programs.
