Join Us as a Testing and Instrumentation Engineer II

As a Testing and Instrumentation Engineer II, you will play a key role in the design, development, and execution of testing programs to ensure the performance and reliability of munitions and components. Your work will include test planning, instrumentation setup, data analysis, and reporting, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and precision.

Key Accountabilities

Test Program Execution:

Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans and procedures for munitions and components, including setup and tool selection, to ensure reliable and repeatable results in line with project and industry standards.

Data Collection and Analysis:

Execute test procedures, monitor parameters, collect data, perform statistical analysis, and interpret results to provide clear technical insights and actionable recommendations.

Instrumentation Management:

Select, configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot various test instruments, including pressure sensors, high-speed cameras, and data acquisition systems, ensuring accuracy and functionality.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain documentation that outlines test methods, findings, and conclusions. Present key findings to project teams and stakeholders.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety standards during test operations. Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and ensure proper handling of munitions and equipment at all times.

Experience / Qualifications

Minimum:

  • 3+ years of experience in testing and instrumentation
  • Experience in the defense industry, especially in munitions testing and qualification

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as MIL-STD and ISO
