The Technician Associate - Controls, Fire & Security (CFS) is a key role reporting directly to the Field Line Manager and will be based in Abu Dhabi. The Aftermarket CFS team carries out service, maintenance, and retrofit projects on Security Systems used for comfort and energy efficiency across multiple industries, including commercial, retail, and hospitality.
As a Technician Associate, you will support commissioning, replace controllers, and be responsible for onsite system verification, PPM activities, testing and commissioning of additional doors/cameras, upgrades, service reports of Security Management Systems (SMS), and manage the overall team of Technician Associates and subcontractors on a roster-based 24/7 duty shift plan.

How You Will Do It
As a Technician Associate, you must have a good knowledge of the latest security system products and electronics/networking knowledge. You are hands-on, programming controllers, installing, and commissioning various Access Control System & CCTV System Platforms, Visitor Management Systems, Speed gates, Car Park barriers, Road Blockers, Bollards, ANPR, and setting up and testing third-party software integrations. You will demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training and creating handover documents to ensure a smooth transfer to customers while always maintaining a high standard of safety.
Required
What we look for
B.Tech in Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of various brands of CCTV systems (Avigilon, HIK, Pelco, American Dynamics & Milestone), Thermal Camera & CCTV Storage systems.
Coordinate with the client’s IT team to understand their IT & network requirements and implement the same.
Proven knowledge and experience in preparing ADMCC submittals and requirements.
Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on Access Control systems (P2000 & C-CURE, CEM ACS Applications).
Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on intrusion detection and ANPR systems.
Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on Road Blockers, Bollards, Gate Barriers & Fire Systems.
Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on hardware-level integration with lifts, thermal cameras, and perimeter detection systems.
Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of all assigned tasks and coordination with third-party service providers and vendors.
Provide solutions to others on very complex system problems by either troubleshooting or advising how to resolve problems.
Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and professional manner.
Act as an escalation point for technical issues and provide coaching, mentoring, and technical assistance to team members and clients.
Serve as the focal point for clients, sales, and manufacturers to achieve the required solutions to fulfill client requirements.
Technical knowledge in working with UPS systems.
Support the team in all aspects through technical expertise on systems, networks, and security products & applications.
Knowledge in the preparation of incident reports and root cause analysis reports.
The candidate should be fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
