Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Officer, your primary role is to manage the recruitment and selection processes within an organization. You will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent to meet the evolving needs of the company. This position requires a deep understanding of staffing trends, workforce planning, and candidate management. As a key member of the HR team, you will collaborate with department heads to understand their staffing requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies. Your goal will be to ensure a seamless candidate experience, from application to onboarding, and to maintain a strong employer brand that attracts quality candidates. This role demands excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and job specifications.
  • Manage job postings on various platforms and social media channels.
  • Source candidates using databases, social media, and employee referrals.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to shortlist candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with department heads and hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback.
  • Conduct background checks and reference checks on prospective employees.
  • Negotiate salary packages and prepare job offers for selected candidates.
  • Maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs and organizational development.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize hiring processes and outcomes.
  • Stay updated on labor legislation and employment laws to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter or similar HR role for at least two years.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employer branding.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple vacancies.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight recruitment deadlines.
