  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards including MIL-STD-810, DO-160, and fluid specifications
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support airworthiness and certification processes
  • Collaborate with airframe, avionics, controls, and manufacturing teams to deliver fully integrated solutions
  • Engage suppliers and participate in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) to ensure quality and performance

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Fluid Power/Systems Engineering (required)
    • Master’s degree in a related specialization (preferred)

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 8 years in aerospace/defense industries, with at least 4 years focused on hydraulic systems
    • Experience with UAVs, military aircraft, or rotorcraft is highly desirable

  • Certifications:
    • INCOSE ASEP or CSEP (preferred)
    • OEM or specialized hydraulic training (advantageous)
    • Familiarity with AS9100D or ISO 9001 quality systems (preferred)
Technical Tools

  • Simulation: SimHydraulics, Amesim, MATLAB/Simulink
  • CAD: CATIA, NX, SolidWorks
  • Standards: MIL-STD-810, DO-160, MIL-PRF-5606/MIL-PRF-83282, AS9100

Ideal Attributes

  • Strong systems-thinking approach and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability
  • Clear communicator with the ability to simplify complex technical data
  • Team player who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes defense environments
  • Adaptive, proactive, and committed to engineering excellence
