Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive strategies to optimize supply chain operations and efficiency.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement within supply chain processes.
  • Oversee the procurement process to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate logistics, warehousing, and transportation activities effectively.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers globally.
  • Implement appropriate technology solutions to streamline supply chain activities.
  • Monitor inventory and develop policies for inventory control and reduction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and ensure product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the supply chain.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Prepare and manage the department's budget and relevant financial forecasts.
  • Continuously research and implement supply chain best practices and innovations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in supply chain management or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management software systems and applications.
  • Proven experience leading and managing supply chain teams and projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
