Job Description

The Store Manager plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of a retail store. This position involves overseeing the efficient functioning of the store, ensuring that all operations run smoothly to maximize sales and profitability. The Store Manager is responsible for leading and motivating the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. In addition, they must maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and effectively managing complaints and feedback. Inventory control, managing budgets, and financial records are also key responsibilities. A successful Store Manager creates an environment where employees thrive, customers are satisfied, and the financial health of the store is upheld.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the store team to achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop action plans to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer service in line with the company policy.
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained for optimal stock management.
  • Implement promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new customers.
  • Monitor and maintain store budget and financial records efficiently.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback professionally.
  • Ensure store appearance is consistent with the brand’s standards.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews for staff.
  • Collaborate with regional managers to align store operations with broader objectives.
  • Analyze sales data to make informed business decisions and report findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in retail management, particularly in supervisory roles.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for successful customer interactions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for effective decision-making.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
