Specialist Engineer - Process

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities during the FEED and Detailed Engineering phases of oil and gas projects.
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other process design documentation.
• Perform process simulations and design calculations to ensure optimal design and performance.
• Provide technical support to project teams, ensuring process designs meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure seamless integration of process systems.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs (Hazard and Operability Studies), and other technical evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and best practices for offshore and onshore facilities.
• Monitor and manage process design quality, cost, and schedule during the engineering phases.
  
  

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of process engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on offshore projects.
• Extensive experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
• In-depth knowledge of process design, safety, and regulatory standards in the oil and gas sector.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of offshore systems and facilities.
