Job Description

A Social Media Executive is responsible for managing and implementing a company's social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase sales. They play a key role in building and maintaining a strong online presence for an organization across various social platforms. This position involves developing strategies, creating original content, analyzing usage data, and managing projects and campaigns. A Social Media Executive should be well-versed in the use of social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. The role requires creativity, analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a keen understanding of how digital media works. The aim is not only to engage and grow the audience but also to enhance customer relationships and contribute to overall business objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Create and manage engaging digital content for all social media platforms.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement, suggesting content optimization opportunities.
  • Design social media campaigns tailored to various target demographics.
  • Collect and analyze social media insights to guide future marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, develop content, and coordinate actions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers to create a strong network.
  • Provide constructive feedback on the performance of social media initiatives.
  • Manage the budget for social media activities and ensure resourceful spending.
  • Respond to customer queries in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and suggest innovative ways to attract more followers and gain traffic.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Ability to deliver creative content including text, images, and video.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to gather and interpret data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience with social media analytics and a range of digital marketing tools.
