Site Nurse

As a dedicated and skilled Site Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of individuals at various work sites. This dynamic position involves providing comprehensive nursing care, managing onsite health clinics, and implementing health and safety programs tailored to the specific needs of the site and its personnel. You will collaborate closely with medical professionals, safety personnel, and management to address health concerns and ensure adherence to health regulations and best practices. Responsibilities

• Perform regular health assessments to monitor employees' well-being at the site.
• Provide first aid and emergency care in case of workplace injuries or illnesses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed health records for all site employees.
• Conduct regular health education sessions to promote awareness and safety.
• Collaborate with management to develop workplace health and safety policies.
• Monitor compliance with health regulations and address potential health risks.
• Coordinate with offsite medical facilities for specialized care and consultations.
• Participate in incident investigations to improve future health and safety practices.
• Ensure the onsite clinic is stocked with essential medical supplies and equipment.
• Provide supportive counseling to employees facing health-related challenges.
• Facilitate vaccinations and health screenings as part of preventive care measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid and unencumbered nursing license suitable for the work location.
• Previous experience in occupational health or industrial settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and health regulations needed.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
• Adept at emergency response and capable of remaining calm under pressure.
• Proficiency with computer systems for maintaining digital health records.
