Due to a strong pipeline of projects, our Abu Dhabi team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Interior Designer- Site Architect to undertake a variety of projects across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with interior designers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that design concepts are executed accurately during the construction phase.
  • Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations.
  • Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept, budget, and project timeline.
  • Identify and address design-related challenges that may arise during construction, proposing solutions that maintain the project's design intent.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, including site reports, progress photos, and quality control documentation.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients (if required), providing updates on construction progress, addressing any concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with contractors to clarify design details and contractors' shop drawings, resolve discrepancies, and ensure that construction is carried out in accordance with the design plans and approved shop drawings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design. Additional certifications or training in construction management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in construction site management, with a focus on interior design projects. Prior experience in coordinating with contractors and tradespeople is highly valued.
  • Proficient in CAD software, 3D modeling (BIM), and other relevant design and construction management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining design integrity throughout the construction process.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and address design and construction challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and project stakeholders.
