Site Accountant

As a Site Accountant you will be responsible for managing and coordinating financial activities related to project operations on-site. This includes handling petty cash, processing purchase requests and orders, budgeting for transportation and indirect costs, and ensuring timely payments such as wages and rental expenses. This requires close collaboration with project managers, the fleet department, and other relevant teams to monitor expenses, approve invoices, and maintain accurate financial records

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with project managers and departments to manage petty cash, purchase requests, and approvals.
• Prepare purchase orders and collaborate with the warehouse to process material receipts.
• Manage budgets and approve invoices for transportation, indirect costs, and expatriate accommodation.
• Handle bi-weekly cash wage payments for indirect labor by requesting necessary funds.
• Perform quarterly budget reconciliations, submit closing balances to Treasury, and conduct warehouse audits.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or any relevant studies is required
• 2+ years of experience at the same field
• UAE Local market experience is required
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
