Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement effective corrective measures efficiently.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and tailor service strategies accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during service activities.
• Provide detailed and accurate service reports following each maintenance task or repair.
• Advise clients on potential equipment upgrades to enhance performance and reliability.
• Ensure all equipment and maintenance tools are functioning and well-maintained.
• Assist in the development of service protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Train junior engineers and technicians on mechanical systems service techniques.
• Track and manage service parts inventory and reorder as necessary to prevent delays.
• Continuously update knowledge base on emerging technologies and mechanical innovations.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar mechanical service role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
• Willingness to travel frequently to onsite client locations at short notice.
• Proficient understanding of mechanical systems, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Good physical condition and ability to handle mechanical tools and equipment safely.
