Job Description

As a Senior Software Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our software solutions in dynamic and competitive markets. Your primary focus will be leveraging your sales expertise, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills to expand our customer base and increase market share. You will work closely with our sales team and other departments to create and implement innovative sales strategies that align with our business objectives. Your ability to understand customer needs, demonstrate software solutions, and close complex deals will be critical to your success. Our ideal candidate is results-oriented with a proven track record in software sales, exhibits strong leadership qualities, and possesses excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve organizational goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients.
  • Understand client needs and effectively demonstrate software solutions to them.
  • Negotiate and close deals with senior management and KDMs at client organizations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales presentations.
  • Track and manage sales activities and forecasts through CRM systems.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Provide regular sales updates and performance reports to senior management.
  • Foster long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior sales team members and share industry insights and best practices.
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote products and build the brand.
  • Utilize feedback from clients to continuously improve sales processes and products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software sales, preferably in B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Strong understanding of software products and technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
