Senior SAP Developer - S 4 Conversion And ABAP RAP

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Senior SAP Developer – S/4 Conversion & ABAP RAP for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.

Please note: This position requires the candidate’s physical presence in the UAE. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available at this time. The selected candidate should be able to relocate and start within one month from offer acceptance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead custom development activities during SAP S/4HANA conversion and migration projects.
• Design, build, and optimize applications using ABAP RAP within S/4HANA.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP Workflow solutions to support critical business processes.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and architects to design scalable and efficient solutions.
• Perform code remediation and optimization during S/4 conversion (custom code adaptation, simplification items).
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and conduct peer code reviews.
• Work on SAP BTP extensions and integrations (nice to have), including CAP, Fiori/UI5, and cloud-based workflows.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring high system reliability and performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test scenarios.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with strong focus on S/4HANA.
• Hands-on expertise in:
• S/4HANA Conversion (custom code remediation, adaptation, extensibility).
• ABAP RAP for building RESTful applications on S/4HANA.
• Workflow development and enhancement within S/4.
• Solid knowledge of S/4HANA data models, CDS Views, OData services, and extensibility options.
• Experience in performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across functional and technical teams.
