Job Overview:

As a Senior Account Manager at Emirates NBD, your role is to acquire, develop and manage affluent client relationships within ENBD Priority Banking. You will be responsible for growing existing client portfolios, meeting revenue targets across assets, liabilities, investments and insurance, and delivering high standards of service while ensuring full compliance with UAE Central Bank, KYC and anti-money laundering requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the main point of contact for Priority Banking customers, ensuring their basic banking, service and relationship requirements are handled effectively.
  • Initiate, develop and retain client relationships while actively contributing to the business development goals of the Priority Banking unit.
  • Drive client acquisition activities including client presentations, deal closure, account development and early lifecycle management for New-to-Bank customers.
  • Identify opportunities to grow share of wallet by cross-selling banking products, lending solutions, investments, insurance and other relevant Priority Banking services.
  • Engage Product Specialists when specialised advice is required, ensuring clients receive suitable solutions and high-quality advice at every interaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date compliance, KYC and client profiles, assess customer risk tolerance and investment suitability, and comply with all operational risk, sales process and anti-mis-selling policies.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and service quality, resolve customer issues in coordination with relevant teams, and support referrals to other areas of the bank where appropriate.

 

Skills and Experience

  • University degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a sales role within the financial services or banking industry.
  • Experience across retail banking, wealth management or related banking areas is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Priority Banking products and services, including basic banking products, lending, financial advisory, asset management, investments and insurance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Good understanding of compliance, KYC, anti-money laundering, operational risk and customer suitability requirements.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is an advantage.
